Our Story
Since JFM’s humble beginnings in the 2004 Victorian Speedway season aboard a Junior Sedan, Josh has continued to develop as a professional driver on and off track.
Stepping away from the sedan category to complete a Plumbing apprenticeship at the age of 16, Josh set his sights on purchasing a 600 Micro Sprint to compete on the Australian Speedway scene, with numerous success on local level Josh was nominated as a Speedway Australia Rising Star in the 2012 season which elevated the racing operation to the next level.
2013 Season - Our first trip to American Soil, Campaigning a factory backed Triple X Race Co 600 Micro sprint against some of the toughest competition in the world. We were lucky enough to put a deal together with our sponsors to build a brand new car package powered by a Seros race engine. With thanks to the Carroll and Johnson family of Roseville CA, Josh headed to California with nothing more than a racegear bag and Butlerbuilt seat.
The tradition continued with 4 tours of racing in California, a lot of lessons learnt and laughs with great friends. In this period Josh focused on developing a racing supplies business specializing in the sales of 600 cars to the Australian market.
2022 marks a new milestone at JFM with the team developing a 410ci Sprintcar program, utilizing Triple x cars and motors prepared by Scottie Males in the USA and KRE in Australia. With intentions on operating a three car program based out of Brisbane, QLD.
The 2022-2023 season will see us travel up and down the east coast of Australia, from Cairns QLD to Warrnambool in Victoria, stay up to date with our movements via our social media pages.
Josh is a very versatile race driver, from Dirt and Bitumen Karting through to dirt bikes and now 410ci Winged Sprintcars.
